Discogs announces most expensive record sold on site

It doesn’t come cheap.

Discogs has reported a new record for most expensive vinyl sold on the site: Sacaramanga Silk’s Choose Your Weapon 12″, which fetched over $40,000.

With a sale price of $41,095, the 2008 Choose Your Weapon EP surpasses previous number one – Prince’s The Black Album, which was sold for $27,500, and The Beatles’ Love Me Do, which was sold for $15,411.
