Sean Dunne’s film The Archive about Paul Mawhinney has been around for a while, but while there’s time to fill why not watch it again?
And if you’ve not seen it before, then you’re in for a treat. Paul Mawhinney owns over a million LPs, and over 1.5 million singles. Library of Congress believe that only 17% of Mawhinney’s collection between 1948 and 1966 is available on CD. And yet, like Music Man Murray, Paul is being forced to find a new home for his archive.
