The creative partnership between Christian Duka (Vādin / Amoenus) and Marco Maldarella (Sinestesie) started in a metal band over 10 years ago. Their upcoming second album, Epistolae, was created across London and Bologna during the pandemic as “an ode to friendship and a way to keep connected during a time of isolated separation”.

Hear “Sacrificio Quotidiano”, taken from the release, below.

The pair’s first release for Utter was “conceived as one continuous musical experience, with each track flowing effortlessly into each other in sequence,” explains a press statement.

Epistolae is available on limited vinyl, mastered and cut by Anne Taegert at D&M and accompanied by artwork from Marco Maldarella.

You can pre-order the release now ahead of its July 7 release.
