Two of Leroy Hutson’s albums are being reissued on vinyl, this May via Acid Jazz.

Hutson’s second solo LP, The Man, was originally released in 1974; his sixth solo album Closer To The Source was originally released in 1978.

Both albums were recorded at Curtis Mayfield’s Curtom Studios in Chicago, Illinois.

The reissues follow Acid Jazz’ Hutson and Hutson II, rereleased earlier this year, as well as a two-part documentary series about Hutson’s career:
