During the summer of 1966, the then 18-year old Laura Nyro auditioned for music producer Milt Okun and A&R figure Artie Mogull. Mogull would subsequently become Nyro’s manager, and Okun took on production duties for her debut album, More Than Just A Discovery.

Now being released for the first time, Go Find The Moon: The Audition Tape features an early rendition of ‘And When I Die’, along with previously unreleased tracks and covers.

It follows the reissue of Nyro’s 1967-78 studio albums as Laura Nyro: American Dreamer in July.
