The Vinyl Factory lines up singer-songwriter’s second full-length LP.
London-born Lail Arad will release her second album The Onion digitally and on vinyl through The Vinyl Factory on April 15th.
The follow-up to her 2011 debut Someone New, Arad’s combination of youthful verve and perceptive maturity has drawn comparisons with Courtney Barnett, Jonathan Richman and Lou Reed.
And yet, despite such illustrious company, it’s the influence of Leonard Cohen that shines brightest in her deft song-writing, paid homage to on the track ‘1934 (A Song For Leonard Cohen)’, which you can hear below.
