Jordan Rakei helms latest instalment of Late Night Tales series

“My idea of Late Night Tales was to distil a series of relaxing moments.”

Jordan Rakei is the latest artist to take the reins of Late Night Tales’ mix series. The 2xLP compilation will be released this April.

The 18-track compilation features music from Joe Armon-Jones, Alfa Mist, Charlotte Day Wilson, Connan Mockasin, Snowpoet and Homay Schmitz, plus new work by Rakei himself.

As he explains, “my idea of Late Night Tales was to distil a series of relaxing moments; the whole conceptual sonic of relaxation. Plus, I was also trying to help my friends’ stuff get into the world.”

It follows Khruangbin’s take on the series in 2020.
