Set for release in October, Battlefield 2024 marks the latest instalment in the franchise developed by EA and DICE.

While Guðnadóttir has previously worked on films and TV shows including Chernobyl, Sicario, and Joker — which won her an Oscar in 2019 — Battlefield 2024 marks her first video game soundtrack.

“It was such a deeply creative experience to dive into this world and create a truly unique and disruptive musical environment for the game,” the duo share.

Little else is known about the soundtrack, with no release date or tracklist confirmed at the time of writing.
