Using a combination of different wood species to “deliver a rich, warm sound.”
Hi-fi company Grado has launched two new wooden headphones, called the RS1x and RS2x.

The new headphones boast a “completely redesigned speaker,” specifically tailored to their own individual combination of wood types.
Fusing cocobolo, maple, and hemp wood, the RS1x has a frequency response of 12–30,000hz.
The RS2x uses maple and hemp wood, with a frequency response of 14–28,000hz.
Both models will be available in December, with the RS1x retailing for £799.95, and the RS2x for £599.95.
