Forty-four minutes of iconic exuberance.
Following Grace Jones’ release of her 1980 LP Warm Leatherette, she appeared on Chilean TV show Vamos a Ver, hosted by Raul Matas, later that year.
Amidst costume changes and exuberant dancing, the 44-minute performance includes renditions of ‘The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game’, ‘Autumn Leaves’, ‘Fame’, plus a cover of Édith Piaf’s iconic track ‘La vie en rose’.
Jones is set to curate the 2021 edition of London’s Meltdown festival, which has been postponed to June 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
