Expérience tropicale.

Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and J.Perez’ Exotourisme will release new 12″ Tornado Alley to accompany the artist’s forthcoming commission at the Venice Biennale 2019.

Continuing the duo’s fascination with dystopian futures, ‘Tornado Alley’ imagines a desolate world that hints at post-climate change catastrophe, built from sci-fi synthesisers and Gonzalez-Foerster’s foreboding spoken word delivery. Watch the video for the new track above.

Backed with another track track ‘Involoution’, Tornado Alley accompanies the premiere of Gonzalez-Foerster’s new VR commission at Venice Biennale 2019, and the duo’s live performance at The Store X The Vinyl Factory opening party.

The new 12″ follows the release of Exotourisme’s Pangea Innamorata on The Vinyl Factory earlier this year, and 2018’s Des Ombres, both of which draw on French new wave and electronic influences.
