Brazilian funk and soul collected in Soul Jazz 5×7” box set

Soul Jazz is releasing a new 5×7” box set of Brazil funk and soul – Brazil Funk Power: Brazilian Funk & Samba Soul – this August.

The ten-track collection features tracks by artists including Jorge Ben, Cassiano, Joelma, Banda Black Rio, Tim Maia, Toni Tornado, Luiz Gonzaga Jnr. and Balanca Povo.

Brazil Funk Power: Brazilian Funk & Samba Soul marks the the second of Soul Jazz’s three Record Store Day 2020 releases – following its Studio One 007 – Licensed to Ska box set.
