Spend more time with the emo classic.

Braid’s third studio album Frame & Canvas is being reissued by Polyvinyl to celebrate its 25th anniversary this April.

Frame & Canvas was the midwest emo band’s first album on Polyvinyl. Originally released in 1997, it has since achieved a cult status within the emo and post-hardcore world and is often lauded as one of the greatest emo albums of all time.

Hear the first remastered track from the release, “Killing A Camera” below.

“In the small but growing circles of Midwestern emo of the late ‘90s, and all that would eventually ripple outward and upward from those circles, nothing was quite the same after this record,” say Polyvinyl in a press statement.

This reissue stems from the original tapes of the album and has been remastered by Dan Coutant. It features an expanded packaging with a deluxe gatefold jacket and a 12-page booklet with lyrics, rare photos and new liner notes from the band.

You can pre-order Frame & Canvas on metallic copper vinyl ahead of its April 7 release.
