Its turntable is an updated version of B&O’s iconic 1972 Beogram 4000c turntable, now presented in solid walnut wood and pearl-blasted titanium tone aluminium.

The set-up also includes a pair of Beolab 18 stereo speakers, and a Beoremote Halo remote control, which allows users to control their home setup through its touchscreen display.

The Beosystem 72-22 comes in a solid walnut box, which also functions as a turntable stand and Halo charging station.

Alongside the turntable and speaker, the package includes five classic albums from 1972: David Bowie’s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Paul Simon’s eponymous debut; The Allman Brothers Band’s Eat a Peach, and Carly Simon’s No Secrets.

The Beosystem 72-22 will retail for £33,626, in a limited edition run of 30 systems.
