Baltra crafts low-slung house in new Local Action EP

Beckoning towards the safe return of clubs.

NYC-based DJ and producer Baltra is releasing a new EP, called Ambition, via Local Action this May.

Placing his own vocals centre stage, the five track EP spans breezy house, downtempo, and club-orientated sonics inspired by NYC’s warehouse parties.

Coinciding with the announcement Baltra has shared lead single ‘Baby’, which he describes as “a love letter to one’s self.”

Ambition follows Local Action and Finn’s collaborative Mixtape Club initiative, which was launched in January to help support musicians during the Coronavirus pandemic.
