Mixtape Club series launched to support artists during the Coronavirus pandemic

A collaborative initiative from Local Action and Finn.

A new mix series called Mixtape Club is launching this January, in aid of musicians during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Helmed by Local Action and Finn, each artist selected for the series will be paid £150 for their mixtape, and have a £150 budget to commission original artwork for the mix.

All mixes will be free to stream and download; Mixtape Club has also launched a Patreon to support the initiative. Any money raised above the £300 budget will be evenly distributed between the DJs at the end of the series.

Six mixtapes will be comminision between January and July 2021, with featured artists yet to be announced.
