The REF Phono 3SE is housed in a single chassis, with aluminium side panels, and acrylic top and bottom covers.

Identical in external design to its predecessor, according to Audio Research, the REF Phono 3SE features “enhanced resolution at all levels, greater purity and focus, improved transient speed and snap, and increase in quality of dynamic shading.”

Priced at £13,000, it weighs 16.6 kg, and measures 48cm x 19.8cm x 41.9cm.

While the first units will be available in March, current REF Phono 3 owners can also purchase an upgrade for £2,300 in May.
