The clothing features gig flyers from the mid-’70s, designed by Russell and his long-time partner, visual artist Tom Lee.

“He [Russell] would find images to use in coloring books. I’m most intrigued by both the Lower Manhattan Ocean Club and Sobossek’s designs. If you saw either of those posted in downtown Manhattan at that time, what would you think? Does he perform music for children? Is it a magic show?,” shares Audika founder Steve Knutson.

The collection includes short and long-sleeve t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats.

Coinciding with the collection, a donation has been made to GMHC, the world’s first HIV/AIDS service organization.
