Art Vinyl’s annual award opens.

Now entering its 12th year, Art Vinyl has announced the nominations and opened voting on 2016’s most creative and well-designed record cover.

With 50 sleeves to choose from, this year’s nominations include Nicolas Jaar’s scratch-card sleeve for new album Sirens, Quentin Blake’s illustration for namesake James’ The Colour In Everything, Kaytranada’s stunning 99.9%, The Avalanches’ Wildflower, Stranger Things Soundtrackers S U R V I V E, Rihanna’s Anti and of course Jonathan Barnbrook’s endlessly intriguing artwork for David Bowie’s Blackstar.

You can vote for your top 3 sleeves from the list here with the winner set to be announced on 5th January 2017.

Last year, over 16,000 people voted on the prize, which was awarded to David Gilmour’s Rattle That Lock.
