Yo! Selector take you into the deepest corners of your favourite DJ’s record bag.

From the weirdest bargain bin finds, to the juciest slow jams, rarest samples and stone-cold floor-emptiers, every DJ has his or her own individual approach to building a set. It’s these records that we’re setting out to discover and share with you.

Having met with Moses Boyd, Mafalda and Josey Rebelle, the series continues at Dimensions festival with trio of brothers and Swiss DJ collective Alma Negra.

Digging deeper than most, their sets explore the cross-sections of psychedelic soul, African roots and out-there funk jams, leading to in-demand edits on labels like Sofrito, Highlife and Basic Fingers.
