Featuring brand new music from the band too.

Yo La Tengo are releasing a new EP, titled Sleepless Night, via Matador this October.

The tracks on this EP first appeared as part of a retrospective on Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

A longstanding fan of Yo La Tengo, Nara designed the EP’s cover art and worked with the band to choose the songs — which include a brand new track alongside covers of songs written by The Byrds, The Delmore Brothers, Bob Dylan, Ronnie Lane, and The Flying Machine.

Sleepless Night follows Yo La Tengo’s last album We Have Amnesia Sometimes, which was released in July this year, also on Matador.
