Recorded during Yamaneko’s final winter in London before relocating to Tokyo, Spirals Heaven Wide takes influence from new age cassettes and video game soundtracks, whilst incorporating nods to trance and hardcore.

The album follows yamaneko’s work crafting the soundtrack to 2019’s You Can Make History, a documentary about the 2013 campaign to protect the Southbank Undercroft skatepark in London.

Local Action recently released Sim Hutchings’ EP and interactive web project, Club Love.
