A Hackney Wick record store is now offering overnight stays

Sleep soundly amongst the records.

A Hackney Wick-based record store is offering customers the chance to have an overnight stay amongst its records.

Vinyl Pimp, a collection-only record store based in Oslo House, has opened up a guestroom with full access to its private record collection.

An Instagram post for the store states that “the room is decked out with everything you need for a comfortable and unique stay”. Visitors get access to a listening booth and “the amenities of the warehouse including an open plan kitchen and music performance stage”.

Whilst the room itself is free, a minimum store spend is required to stay. Customers must spend £200 on weekdays, £250 on weekends and £100 extra for a second guest. Easily done, considering there’s no closing time.
