Another company looks to fill the DIY vinyl void.

Vinylify is an Amsterdam-based startup that will press personalized vinyl records on demand. Customers choose a playlist and create cover art, either uploading their own music or choosing from a catalog of music that will pay out royalties to rights holders.

Vinylify will then cut, label, package and the deliver the 10″ vinyl. The vinyl is hand cut at the Vinylify store in Amsterdam on cutting machines that date back to the 1980s, using a Technics 1210 MK2 turntable and an audio rack that converts digital sound to analog to ensure high quality transfer.

The price for this service, not including shipping? 50 euros. Seems a little steep to us, but it’s cheaper than that desktop DIY cutting machine. Plus, that Super Specific Vinyl on Demand service has not yet reached their crowdfunding goal. [via Citylab]
