A wireless set-up for Sonos fans.

Victrola have unveiled a new, Sonos-compatible turntable.

The Stream Carbon, which ships in October, is certified by the Works with Sonos programme and integrates seamlessly with a Sonos system over Wi-Fi. Unlike other “Sonos-compatible” turntables, it does not need to be physically connected to any other hardware components.

The turntable features a carbon fibre tonearm, a removable aluminium headshell, and a premium Ortofon 2M Red cartridge and is capable of playing 33 and 45 RPM records.

“We are proud of how easy to set up and use the Victrola Stream Carbon is, but we are even more proud of the reaction we see when someone listens to records with friends or family through their Sonos system,” says Victrola CEO Scott Hagen.

You can pre-order the Stream Carbon now for a price of $799.99 (around £730).
