The world’s biggest record fair returns this weekend

The Mega Record & CD Fair is back.

Coinciding with Record Store Day 2016, the world’s biggest record fair returns to the Dutch city of Utrecht this weekend. The bi-annual event – which is a staple on the dealing calendar – features over five hundred seller from across the globe.

Some 35,000 collectors are expected to attend the event, which, alongside the International Collectors’ Fair is spread over an area the size of ten football pitches.

Now on to its 45th edition, this event will host a David Bowie poster memorial as well as a Ramones photo exhibition to mark 40 years since the release of their debut album. As usual there will be DJs sets, live music and Dutch croquettes all weekend.

The event takes place on 16-17 April at the Jaarbeurs Convention Centre in Utrecht. See photos below from last year’s event below:
