Limited edition gold 007″ of course.
Earlier this year Sonic Cathedral attacked Record Store Day with a scathing open letter and a backlash release, celebrating every day of the year instead of just the one.
Now the indie label is taking on pop behemoth Sam Smith and his official theme for the new James Bond film Spectre, with an alternative theme by Bristol based band Spectres.
Spectres also shared what they claim is an email thread between Sam Smith’s manager and the controller of BBC 6 Music, threatening legal action against the station if they continue to play the band’s alternative theme. The BBC have since confirmed that the email chain is a hoax.
Allegations aside, the unofficial theme is out today on limited edition gold 7″ vinyl. It’s sold out from the Sonic Cathedral online shop but available from a number of UK record shops. Click here for more info on where to pick one up.
