Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me soundtrack to be reissued on vinyl in early 2017

Update 27/12: Death Waltz has announced via Facebook that the edition will drop in January

It will be Death Waltz’s first release of the new year.

A reissue saga as slippery as the original show, Twin Peaks fans will have to wait a little, but not that much longer for the teased vinyl reissue of Fire Walk With Me.

Originally confirmed along with the reissue of Angelo Badalamenti’s Twin Peaks TV soundtrack, the accompanying film score was then promised before the end of 2016, as per the latest update in August.

Now the Twin Peaks Twitter feed has confirmed that the release will be the first Death Waltz release of 2017:

Composed by long time David Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, the Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me soundtrack includes vocal contributions from jazz singer Jimmy Scott and dream pop singer Julee Cruise. The Death Waltz edition will feature liner notes from film critic Mark Kermode.
