6 LPs and a host of special additions from Scottish outfit expected in December.
Hailing from the creative cauldron of sunny East Klibride – the South Lanarkshire home of Aztec Camera’s Roddy Frame among others – The Jesus And Mary Chain are to follow up their Record Store Day reissue of 1985 debut album Psychocandy with a comprehensive anniversary box set of 11 discs and a hardback book celebrating thirty years since their formation.
The full compliment of J&MC recordings will span their six studio albums (Psychocandy to 1998’s Munki), remastered at half speed on heavyweight vinyl from the original tapes, a fan-selected compilation of B-sides and rarities and the band’s BBC sessions, which will appear on vinyl for the first time.
