Written by journalist Larry Jaffee, the book charts the rise of Record Store Day, from its launch in 2007 through the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

Across Record Store Day: The Most Improbable Comeback of the 21st Century Jaffee speaks to artists, record store owners, and the creators of Record Store Day.

In doing so, the book aims to shine a light not only on the cultural impact of RSD, but of record shops more generally.

This year’s RSD will be held on Saturday 23rd April.
