Good dance to music to? 

Last year we reported on the “first record made by boots and legs”. Taping blank vinyl records to the floors of venues before gigs, musician Daniel Freitag used scratches from the audience’s trampling feet to create Project Bootleg, a series of electronic compositions.

Now, Automat (Jochen Arbeit, Achim Färber, Georg Zeitblom) and Schneider TM have re-composed the scratches into three unique works, released in a limited edition run (on vinyl of course). To complete the concept, the sleeve design is also the product of marks and dirt from dancing feet.
