A new documentary, The Art of Listening, traces how sound evolves and the route music takes before reaching the listener’s ear.

Directors Michael Coleman and Emmanuel Moran interview over forty practitioners to explore “the intent of an instrument maker and composer” and the role played by “producers and engineers who capture and preserve an artist’s voice.”
