The acclaimed OST is back for a second bite.
The most hyped Netflix series of the year, there has been as much noise about Stranger Things’ ’80s synth soundtrack as the show itself.
Where the series takes its cue from a number of cult sci-fi flicks like The Goonies and E.T., the soundtrack by Austin band S U R V I V E references John Carpenter and the golden age of the horror soundtrack.
With a deluxe 4xLP box set already in the works, and the release date for Stranger Things’ Vol. 1 set in stone (28th Oct in the US, 11th Nov in the UK), the vinyl release for Vol. 2 has now been announced.
Due on 18th November in the U.S. via Lakeshore Records and December 2 in the UK via Geoff Barrow’s label Invada – who recently announced releases for Drive and Trials Of The Blood Dragon, you can check out gatefold artwork detail below.
