Specimens sculpts “ambient canvases” on Intersections

Featuring Midori Hirano, Peter Broderick, Benoit Pioulard, and Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch.

Specimens, aka Alex Ives, is releasing a new album called Intersections, via First Terrace Records this May.

Exploring the nature of artistic collaboration, Ives enlisted the help of Midori Hirano, Peter Broderick, Benoit Pioulard, and Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch to help him craft the album’s “ambient canvases.”

“I wanted to write an album as a kind of ode to all the wonderful little exchanges we have through our life with other humans,” shares Ives.

Intersections follows the label’s release of MSC’s What You Say Of Power album.
