A new audio documentary and podcast series called Sound Motives explores musicians’ influences and cultural inspirations.

Created by producer Dave O’Donnell, the latest episode centres around London producer Paul White discussing “his journey in music from childhood influences and working with his rap heroes, through to prioritising an honest creative journey, in the face of commercial pressures to continue with the tried and tested techniques of his earlier work.”

Previous instalments include Mala, Shigeto and Kenton Slash Demon, with extensive track lists and information about references from each show.
