The album was recorded direct-to-disc at Artone Studios to capture what Korwar’s “spirit of spontaneous improvisation”.

It features Korwar on drums joined by Tamar Osborn on sax, Achuthan Sripathamanathan on violin, Giuliano Modarelli on guitar, and Alistair MacSween on keys.

“In a way, this was about creating a utopian vision of a world I would like to live in. A microcosm of the ideals that I would like to live by, in the recording studio,” explains Korwar.

The album follows the label’s release of Turkish band BaBa ZuLa’s Hayvan Gibi LP earlier in October.
