Bittersweet melodies with a tinge of Americana-flavoured nostalgia.

Guitarist Russell Potter’s A Stone’s Throw and Neither Here Nor There albums are being reissued, via Tompkins Square this June.

Inspired by the DIY ethos of America’s punk and new wave scenes, Potter originally self-released his debut album A Stone’s Throw whilst a freshman at Goddard College in Vermont, during 1979.

Potter followed it up with what would be his final album — Neither Here No There — the following year, drawing on traditional Irish slow air melodies.

The reissues follow Tompkins Square’s release of Elsa Hewitt’s LUPA album, in April.
