Techno producer Remute releasing new album on floppy disk

Remute has announced his forthcoming album Limited will be divided onto two formats for its release.

Four songs will be featured on the 7”, with the remaining six contained on a floppy disk.

“The floppy disk format is something I’m using extensively at the moment — even when DJing in a club!” explains the producer on Electronic Beats.

“The tunes I generated with this special method aren’t minimal techno in the classic sense of the genre.”

Limited is “the definition of limited techno. Put the needle on the record, slip the floppy into your disc drive and then get raw, get dirty and get rid of any unnecessary ballast!”
