Exploring the unreal and ancestry with cello, field recordings, and drone.

Artist & composer Réka Csiszér is launching her experimental project VÍZ, with a new album called Veils arriving this December on BlauBlau Records.

Across the album Csiszér combines field recordings with drone, augmented cello, vocal fragments, and analog synths.

Exploring the body, the unreal, and ancestry, each of Veils’ seven tracks is described as “a piece of work for the earth and the ether.”

It follows the label’s release of Leoni Leoni’s Drum Problems album, in October.
