Record Store Day 2023 has unveiled its official release list

With exclusives from The 1975, Taylor Swift, Celeste and more.

Record Store Day 2023 has shared its official Record Store Day releases for this year.

The annual celebration of record stores across the UK takes place on April 22 and will give music fans a chance to grab special vinyl releases from a huge list of artists.

This year’s releases include Taylor Swift’s folklore: the long pond studio sessions and a live album from RSD 2023 ambassadors, The 1975, amongst records from rising talents like Yard Act, piri & tommy, Celeste and Baby Queen.

Long-established acts including Pixies, Carole King, Dolly Parton, U2 and The Police also play a role this year, with special releases on the day.

“We’ve been part of RSD a number of times before and we have some exciting releases for you, which look and sound awesome,” says Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago. “The local independent record stores are the lifeblood and hub of any local scene, and I feel they have played a big part in the success of Pixies over the years”.
