Visual vignettes inspired by the new record.
Following the release of their ninth studio album last week, Radiohead have shared the first in a series of artist-created visual interpretations of A Moon Shaped Pool.
Announcing the series on Instagram, the band wrote: “We asked some people to make short vignettes interpreting sections of our new record.”
The first piece is by self-described “audiovisual architect” Tarik Barri – watch below:
The band have already released a stop-motion animation video for ‘Burn The Witch’ by Virpi Kettu and a Paul Thomas Anderson-directed clip for ‘Daydreaming’.
The album is due on vinyl as a deluxe casebound edition in June, whilst ‘Burn The Witch’ is being released on 7″. The entire Radiohead backcatalogue is also getting a fresh reissue this year.
