Take your pick from the legendary artist’s favourite releases.

Questlove is auctioning off records from his private collection on Friday, May 7.

The musician, writer, actor and all-around polymath will give fans a chance to crate-dig through his collection as part of an online auction hosted on Whatnot at 3.30pm ET (8.30pm BST).

The collection includes The Cannonball Adderley Quintet’s Why Am I Treated So Bad (1967), James Brown’s Hot Pants (1971), Kool & The Gang’s Music Is The Message (1972) and The Soul Searchers’ Salt Of The Earth (1974).

Questlove explains in a press release, “As a collector myself, I am excited to auction off some of my favourite records from my collection to the Whatnot audience, all for a good cause.”

All proceeds from the record sales will go to the Future of Food Entrepreneurship Program.
