Pro-Ject is releasing a new series of turntables in its Essential III range this October, reports What Hi-Fi.

Each variant will include similar basic specs to the Essential III – an MDF platter, aluminium tonearm and Ortofon OM10 cartridge – along with unique features, depending on which model you buy:
– Essential III Phono (£280) can be plugged directly into speakers or a pre-amp via an integrated line output.
– Essential III SB (£320) features an integrated electronic control that allows you to switch between 33rpm and 45 rpm, versus manually changing the speed by removing the platter.
– Essential III BT (£320)features the option to bluetooth stream your vinyl directly from the turntable to bluetooth-enabled speakers.
– Essential III Digital (£320) features digital output directly from the turntable.
– Essential III RecordMaster (£350) features USB output to record your vinyl.
All will be available in three gloss colours: red, white and black.
