Silky smooth, jazzy house.

Phonica has unveiled its final record of the year: Song For Mr. Lewis EP from Austin Ato aka Colin Bailey aka Drums of Death, out this December.

The EP follows Phonica’s recent essential 12”s: ‘Stretch Your Eyes (Quiet Village Remix)’ on its Special Editions imprint and Al Zanders’ There Is Rhythm on the main label.

Title track ‘Song For Mr. Lewis’ is a strings-led number featuring a speech from civil rights activist Representative John Lewis.

But it’s B-Side ‘Morning’ that steals the show, with the kind of jazz-hued piano hook meets Marshall Jefferson vocals that will fuel dance floor chorusing aplenty, day or night.

Song for Mr. Lewis is out 1st December via Phonica White.
