Perfume Genius ushers in Ugly Season

Featuring music originally written for his immersive dance performance The Sun Still Burns Here.

American musician Perfume Genius, aka Mike Hadreas, is releasing a new album, called Ugly Season, via Matador this June.

The album is comprised of music Hadreas originally wrote for his The Sun Still Burns Her dance performance.

Ugly Season will be accompanied by a short film by celebrated multimedia artist Jacolby Satterwhite.

It follows Hadreas’ Perfume Genius album Set My Heart On Fire Immediately.
