Ninja Tune and AIAIAI collaborate on headphones made from recycled vinyl

Ninja Tune and AIAIAI have collaborated on a new headphone, called the TMA-2 Ninja Tune Edition.

Building on AIAIAI’s 2015 TMA-2 headphone, the TMA-2 Ninja Tune Edition features both on and over-ear vegan leather cushions, plus 20-hour battery life with Bluetooth connectivity.

Notably, the headphones have been made from recycled, unsold vinyl from Ninja Tune’s archives. “We finally found a way for you to listen to our deeper cuts,” the press release notes.

Earlier this month, Ninja Tune announced plans for its business to be carbon neutral by the end of 2021, and carbon negative after that.

Limited to 1000 copies, the TMA-2 Ninja Tune Edition is available now, and costs £220.
