Originally premiered in 2011 to mark the 41st anniversary of Earth Day.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner is releasing his instrumental piece 41 Strings on vinyl for the first time, via Chaikin Records this July.

The album was originally created to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Earth Day in 2011, and has only been publicly performed three times since.

The album version was recorded at Water Music, with the instrumental suite’s four movements chart the change of the seasons.

It follows the release of the band’s last studio album — Mosquito.
