The shop stocks over 45 records from MoMa’s permanent collection, including albums from Duran Duran, The Beatles, and The Ramones.

“The best album covers are a compact visual expression or translation of the music they deliver,” says curator Juliet Kinchin. “As an art form, they have been attuned to the rapid changes in popular music, fashion and design.”

The Record Shop will also stock bluetooth speakers, headphones and turntables.

The new space will host a panel on record collecting, demonstrations on how to clean and store vinyl, as well as in-store sets.

The Record Shop will be open until 1st March, head here for more info.
