Taiwanese plant Mobineko launches custom press for limited vinyl runs

Offering a four week turnaround for pressing 25-100 records.

Taiwanese pressing plant Mobineko has developed a new custom press for limited order vinyl pressings.

With demand for vinyl hitting 30-year highs, and pressing plant capacities stretched as a result, Mobineko has unveiled a new fast turnaround service that it’s spent the past few years developing.

Dubbed Mobineko Express, the service incorporates a brand new press and will deliver runs of 25-100 records on a roughly four-week turnaround.

Those using Mobineko Express will have the same material and quality control as the plant’s main service, with limited packaging options to keep things simplified.

The service will launch initially for existing Mobineko customers.
