McIntosh announces new 7-channel power amp, the MC257

Designed to bring cinema quality sound to your home.

McIntosh is releasing a new amplifier called the MC257 this autumn.

The MC257 features a TripleView Power Output Meter that gives a real-time reading of the amplifier’s three front channels, with 250 Watt capability per channel when using the front three channels, or 200 Watts when using all seven channels.

It also includes five Heatsinks designed to cool the machine, and can be used on its own or paired with digital amplifiers.

The MC257 measures 44.5cm x 23.9cm x 53.3cm, weighing 58 kg.
